Vaca
Nestled on the ground level of a residential tower in downtown Los Angeles, the interior of Vaca softens and reshapes the existing space with forms evocative of a subterranean cavern. Sweeping, gestural curves are accentuated by layered lighting to guide the flow, creating an enveloping experience that offers an escape from the surrounding cityscape.

Rough materials including a handmade Mexican Cotto tile in Zocalo shape add interest and depth.
Deep saffron-colored tile wraps the kitchen walls, extending the warmth and vibrancy of the of the dining area into the back of house.
